Google Sheets Agenda

  1. Google Sheets is great for:
    • sharing the editing of a document among different users and/or locations.
    • when you have smaller spreadsheets
    • spreadsheets that don't require advanced functionality
    • when you need a free spreadsheet editing tool.
    • when you need detail history of changes
       
  2. Microsoft Excel:
    • has more advanced features
    • is faster when handling large spreadsheets
    • has better features like advanced functions, filtering etcetera
    • does not require internet access and can be faster and more reliable because of that.
       
  3. Google Sheets Basics
    • Creating and naming a Sheet
    • Saving a Sheet (spoiler, you don't have to)
    • Making additional tabs in a Sheet
    • Formatting text and data types
      • Bold, Background color
      • Date format
