There are many services and tools that Antioch offers to help you be successful on your programs. The resources listed below can help you with many challenges, but if you need additional help, please contact your instructor, program coordinator, or program director for assistance in getting the support you need.

Zoom Etiquette
Attendance

- Join 5 minutes early to give yourself time to troubleshoot any problem.
- You are expected to attend the duration of each scheduled synchronous online class for full credit.
- Please ask your instructor to find out if you are expected to keep your video on for the duration of class.
- If you get disconnected, try reconnecting for 15 minutes and email your instructor if you are not able to return.
Professionalism

- Students are expected to uphold professional standards of the classroom.
- Appropriate attire (e.g., as if you were coming to campus).

Active Participation and Presence

- Strong and reliable Internet connection. (Troubleshooting Tips)
- Join from your computer or tablet if you can. If that isn't possible you can connect via the Zoom app on you cell phone, but know only limited functionality is available.
- Do your best to ensure adequate lighting and limited background distractions.
- Use headphones with a mic whenever possible and mute yourself when not speaking to reduce background noise.
- If possible, join via a private and secure location (e.g., a room where no one else will come and go).
- Use the "Raise hand" feature in the Participants pane and the "Reactions" in the main toolbar to participate without audio.
